Delicious Choc Chip cookies

I love these - they are delicious!  Ask an adult for help with the oven!

1 cup of cold butter (227g) - cut into small cubes

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar (I use Caster)

2 Eggs

3 cups of plain flour

1 teaspoon cornstarch

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon salt

2 cups of choc chips

Preheat oven to 210 degrees C (410F)

Using a mixer or food processor, cream together cold butter, brown sugar and white sugar for 4 minutes until creamy.

Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each one.

Stir in flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt.  Don't over mix. You can do this by hand or with the mixer on slow speed.

Stir in choc chips by hand.

Seperate into the size of cookie you like. I make mine about 5cm wide.

Place on baking sheet with baking paper.

Bake for 9-12 minutes depending on your oven, or until they are golden brown on top.  Keep an eye on them - they can overcook pretty quickly!

Let cool for 10 minutes before you're tempted to try!
