Animal teeth!

Did you know?

• Snails have 14,000 teeth!  (the most of any animal!)
• You can tell a dolphin's age by its teeth! Like trees, they have rings inside their teeth to indicate their age
• Giraffes have no upper front teeth!  They use their lips to get leaves from trees and use their back teeth to chew.
• Rabbits, squirrels and rodents' teeth keep growing!  Chewing on hard things grind them down to keep them manageable.
• Blue whales have no teeth!  They eat small krill and filter other small organisms from the water.

Who would have thought animal teeth could be so interesting!
